The Sunny D Children’s Theater was pleased and privileged to “fill in” for McElvis during his costume changes at his show. With tables set up on the stage, our kids gave the audience quick quips and cheerful chuckles with scenes from Jonathan Rand’s “Check Please”. Dating can be hard, especially when your date happens to be a raging kleptomaniac, or your grandmother's bridge partner, or a mime. Check Please follows a series of blind dinner dates that couldn't get any worse -- until they do. Could there possibly be a light at the end of the tunnel? There was, and it came in the form of the king, himself!
