STREET THEATER

Join Our Street Theater Troupe

If you like theater, can sing, juggle, smile, sew or have other talents, Improv Theater is for you! It’s a terrific way to create your own persona for a weekend or a single evening, without extensive rehearsals and memorization. BRCT is always looking for new faces! The Street Theater Troupe has a lot of fun supporting the community and the various business associations, while promoting the BRCT. Interested? Please call Dixie or Dan at 706-946-6744.

Having both retired from full careers in the Miami Dade school system, Dixie and Dan Fitzgerald have found a new home in the vibrant Blue Ridge Community.  In addition to being master teachers, they also have brought to Blue Ridge a 25 year tradition of doing large special events, improvisational street theater, and enrichment programs for schools and museums.  They also have their own not-for-profit company which is now housed both in Florida and Georgia.  Past Tymes Productions is now happily working in conjunction with the Blue Ridge Community Theater.
Street theater is one of the oldest forms of live entertainment.  Presently in Blue Ridge, we have had number of successful events utilizing the talent and time of a broad cross section of community volunteers. Our performers are comprised of many regular faces from the BRCT actors ensemble while others may have never dressed in costume and portrayed a character before.  Part of the adventure is creating top notch entertainment on an extremely limited budget.  We welcome your energy and creative input.  For more details, email or call 706.946.6744..
