NOVICE PROGRAM
THE WHY….
•Two business goals for BRCT are to:
–Increase the number of Season Ticket holders for BRCT
–Improve the financial foundation of Sunny D Children's Theater so that we can expand the capabilities of the Children’s theater program.
•The Novice Program as designed, will accomplish both of these objectives through the generosity of one of our Sponsors – RiverStone Medical Campus; and the committed spirit of BRCT Season Ticket Holders.
THE WHAT…
•BRCT Season Ticket Holders can request free tickets to any Main Stage and Act One productions for friends who they believe will purchase Season Tickets. It is intended that a Novice has not previously attended a BRCT production. Availability is limited, so put your requests in early.
•RiverStone Medical Campus will then reimburse BRCT for the cost of these tickets at full value.
•The BRCT Season Ticket holder is then responsible for persuading - gently of course - the Novice Ticket recipients to purchase Season Tickets. If it happens to be mid-year, the ticket purchase will extend into next year’s season for a total of 4 Main Stage productions.
•When the Novice purchases a season ticket, then RiverStone Medical Campus will then MATCH the season ticket cost with an equal value contribution to Sunny D Children’s Theater.
•The RiverStone Medical Campus Goal this year is to allocate 230 Main Stage and 58 Act One Novice Tickets. The number of new Season Tickets sales goal is 29.
•Other corporate sponsors may join RiverStone Medical Campus, and participate in the Novice Program if they choose.
THE HOW…
•Season Ticket Holders should think about those “Novice” friends and neighbors who might be willing to buy season tickets to BRCT, and plan your visit with them to the Theater. •Contact the BRCT Box Office and request Novice tickets for your guest. Remember that availability is limited. You will receive a Demographic form. Upon completion of the informaton, return it to the theater box office in exchange for your Novice ticket.
•Enjoy the show with your Novice prospect, and then after explaining to them the value to BRCT of their purchase of a Season Ticket – the matching contribution to Sunny – please let us know of any assistance you need to help them make the decision to purchase.
•When they buy the Season Ticket(s), please make sure we know they are Novice recipients.
