sunny D

children’s theater

Sunny D Children’s Theater, formed in 2002 and named in memory of Delores Luckett, offers dynamic and diversified programs to youth from 5 – 18 years.  The Theater ignites the imagination, giving our youth the skills and creativity needed to navigate our complex world. The process of theater demands personal interaction, the development of empathy, and the ability to work in a team environment. Our Musical Theater productions provide skill-based education in vocal and dance, and they are fun! An appreciation of the performing arts helps our youth to discover a world of creativity that has no limits.

Each year, Sunny D offers Summer Camps for students as well as produces two Productions.

Sunny D Productions

The Theater offers children’s summer camp and produces two productions each year. Each production is professionally guided by an experienced Director, and beautifully detailed sets are designed and built by supportive volunteers.
