Disney’s High School Musical One Act
Disney Channel's hit movie musical comes to life on stage in Disney's High School Musical! Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends, and family while balancing classes and extracurricular activities. This one-act edition is a student-led 90-minute rendition of the script that will be performed for one weekend in the black-box theater. Selected students will work under the direction and mentorship of the primary directorial staff to learn the ropes of backstage and directing to create a wonderful and fun show for their peers!

Rehearsals begin February 19th and will be Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5pm-7pm.
Rehearsals may be extended or added as needed.
Tech week (mandatory): April 23, 27, 28
Show dates (mandatory): April 30, May 1, 2, & 3
Staff positions are for students ages 13-18 with experience of at least two previous musicals. Roles available include student director, student stage manager, student choreographer, and student vocal director. Student staff auditions are due January 24th. *Note: Preference may be given to students in the Thespian Club, as this was previously a Thespian Club Fundraiser, but all students are encouraged to apply!
Auditions for actors will be February 16th & 17th, 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Students ages 10-18 are welcome.
Students must prepare material from the audition packet below.
Outside material will not be accepted.
