Dinner with Friends by Donald Margulies is a witty, insightful, and emotionally rich drama that explores the complexities of marriage, friendship, and change. Over shared meals and conversations, two couples — longtime friends — find their relationships shaken when one marriage unexpectedly falls apart. As loyalties are tested and truths revealed, the play offers a poignant look at how people grow together, grow apart, and struggle to hold on to the connections that define them. With humor and honesty, Dinner with Friends captures the shifting bonds of modern life and the bittersweet nature of lasting friendships.

Premiering in 1998, the play received wide acclaim and went on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2000, cementing its reputation as one of the most compelling and relevant plays of its time.
