BRCT Welcomes our New Marketing DIrector

Welcome Kathy Benson as Blue Ridge Community Theater’s New Marketing Director

Blue Ridge Community Theater (BRCT) is pleased to welcome Kathy Benson as its new Marketing Director.

Kathy brings extensive experience from both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. She began her professional career as an engineer with Eastman Kodak. Her corporate career led her to hold positions in account, project, and program management with Sun Microsystems and Oracle. In addition to her corporate background, she has built, owned and operated two successful local businesses in downtown Blue Ridge.

Her diverse background, spanning Fortune 500 companies and small business ownership, reflects a strong foundation in marketing, leadership, communication, and customer engagement.

Kathy’s passion for theater, combined with her love of working with people, underscores her commitment to enhancing the overall theater experience for our Blue Ridge community. In her new role, she will focus on strengthening the connections to our community and supporting BRCT’s mission to provide high-quality performing arts for all ages.
