BRCT Welcomes our New Production Manager

Welcome Zachary Nelson as Blue Ridge Community Theater’s New Production Manager

Blue Ridge Community Theater (BRCT) is delighted to welcome Zachary Nelson as its new Production Manager.

Zachary is a Blue Ridge native and a graduate of Fannin County High School, where he was actively involved in the band and theater programs. His journey with BRCT began when he took the stage as Burt in Mary Poppins with Sunny D. From that first show, he continued participating in many productions and summer camps at BRCT.

While studying at the University of Georgia, Zachary returned to BRCT to work on the summer camp staff, where he taught musical theatre classes for three years and loved getting to share his passion for theatre with young performers. He recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. During his time at UGA, he performed with the Redcoat Marching Band, the UGA Wind Ensemble, and several other ensembles within the Hugh Hodgson School of Music.

Zachary is so excited to be back home and working with an organization that has always meant so much to him!
